"First visit by first birthday" is the general rule. To prevent dental problems, your child should see a pediatric dentist when the first tooth appears, usually between 6 and 12 months of age, but no later than his or her first birthday.
It is very difficult to give a quote for treatment because each instance is very specific to the individual patient. However, if you would like an exact amount we offer a $99 special for new patients and patients with no insurance. This $99 special is perfect for the patient due for a cleaning or has several issues that you’d like to have assessed so we can prioritize your treatment needs. It includes a comprehensive exam, a full mouth X-ray and a cleaning.
We would recommend that you see your dentist and dental hygienist at least every 6 months for a dental cleaning and examination. However, some patients may be given the recommendation for a 3-4 month recall for their dental cleanings. Dr. Chase and your hygienists will setup the appropriate recall schedule for your dental needs.
COSMETICS ENHANCEMENTS
BOTOX® works by relaxing the muscles in the face, which can temporarily decrease or even eradicate the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. BOTOX® works best around the eyes on crow’s feet and frown lines between the eyebrows and on the forehead. BOTOX® can also be used to treat medical conditions such as migraines.
Dermal fillers help diminish facial lines and restore volume and fullness to the face. There are various forms of injectable dermal fillers that can plump up thin lips, enhance shallow contours, soften facial creases, remove wrinkles, and improve the appearance of recessed scars.
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a technique-sensitive treatment. You should not lose the ability to show expression when you are treated by someone who is licensed, trained, and a medical expert in facial anatomy. It is important to talk to Dr. Chase about the results you would like during the consultation.
No single dermal filler can address every patient’s needs, which is why we offer many options. Each of our dermal fillers is designed to target specific problem areas on the face. ORTHODONTICS
Make an appointment for an orthodontic screening. After the screening, if you decide you to begin the orthodontic process or we find that your child meets the criteria for insurance to pay for orthodontic treatment, we will do an Orthodontic Diagnostic Work-Up. The Diagnostic Work-Up includes photos, panoramic x-ray, cephalometric x-ray, and 3-D intraoral scans which will be used to determine the patient’s orthodontic treatment plan.
Orthodontics (aka braces) are a covered service for children under the age of 19 that are insured under the Georgia Medicaid programs. However, not all patients will qualify. Each CMO under the Georgia Medicaid program has their own criteria they look for to “approve” a patient for braces. We do not “approve” or “deny” the patients, but the screening appointment allows us to see if the patient has one or more of the criteria that the insurance requires.
Any time your insurance company denies a claim, they are supposed to contact you in writing with their decision and explain the reason for the denial. In the documents, it will state that you have a right to appeal their denial. If you choose to appeal, you must act quickly because you only have 30 days after the denial is made to get the appeal process started.
We also give provide an option for private pay orthodontic treatment. The down payment and monthly payments will be based on the total treatment cost and treatment time.
